This is Thema 6242 which is made of polyester. The Thema 6242 features number and name on the back, and the state on front. This is a fully licensed product. It is designed for the everyday fan and is perfect for any occasion.
Thema is European origin, chrome tanned, aniline drum dyed and vacuum dried leather. The hides are printed with Nappa (follicle) print as with most industry high end automotive leather, but the retannage of this leather gives it a much softer hand.
The result is a leather with the consistency of Nappa, but with more natural variation in the texture of the hide and a little more stretch for workability. It is perfect for use on customs, Hotrods, and resto-mods, but works equally well in OEM replacement applications.
